Stacey! Stacy! Stacy! We were strolling the historic streets of old town Orange and stumbled into this very hard to pronounce little café .. Stacy, our waitress was so sweet and so helpful. We had so many questions and she answered them all. Most of the items are vegan, but they do have a lot of chicken items. I had a tuna salad on sourdough bread with fresh cantaloupe on the side. " and I mean fresh.!" They have an extensive menu , which made it so hard to decide what to have. We know we're going to be back and I'm going to have their BLT. Stacey was so sweet. It was a hot day and she filled up too water cups to go and said. " you gotta stay hydrated out there." We love this town ... very dog friendly too

Rutabegorz is always amazing! I got the Garlic Chicken Salad, substituting the chicken with tuna. It's fresh, healthy, delicious, filling, and one of my favorites. The staff is always kind, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant is a clean, nice decor and a relaxing atmosphere. I would have given it 5 stars, but we all can strive for improvement in whatever we do.

Great food and still at a decent price. Good value overall and great service every time.

Rutabegorz to go is delightful! I brought a chicken garlic salad for me and my friend. We are obsessed. I really can't order anything else because I love this salad so much.

I love Rutabegorz. This location is great, and I always sit on the patio to get some sun and fresh air, it's a great spring/summer spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner! There is always enough shade as they have umbrellas up. The menu is large with lots of vegetarian options! My go to are their Salads, Soups and Sandwiches - oh and their vegetarian chili! It's the only chili I like that's not homemade! Service is always great- staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. This is a go to spot for my entire family as everyone can find something they love!

We love Rutabegorz! It's like walking into your grandma's house so cute! My pregnant wife was craving a wrap and I wanted a sandwich. We frequently visit the one by our home in Fullerton. We were in the area though. My wife had the chicken Caesar wrap and loved it. I have the chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread, that bread is fire! We ordered the chocolate zucchini cake to go and a carrot cake, it's our dessert. Everything was delicious! The service was exceptional!

First time at the Orange location! Having grown up in Tustin, I've been dined at that location for years. I happened to be walking around old towne Orange yesterday afternoon when my tummy gave a little rumble. In an effort to try to eat better this year, it was like it was meant to be: ah ha! A hearty salad from Rutzbegorz! Immediately upon sitting down, I was greeted and my beverage order was taken. I opted for something different - the quinoa Thai salad. They had a monthly black bean hummus and tortilla chips for $1, which I also decided to try. Even though the quinoa Thai salad was billed as a "smaller salad," it was definitely still filling. Note that with the "regular" sized salads, I usually have leftovers. This one made the perfect meal for someone who was very hungry. There was also a kale salad as a special that looked very appealing -- well, many of their salads sounded wonderful. But I was happy with my choice. I loved the peanut dressing. All throughout my meal, the service was attentive. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I love all the courtyard tabled outside! Even if you don't have to visit the loo, do visit, as the mermaid decor in the women's room is charming. 2024: 8/100

The first time, my partner and I stumbled upon this place while we were walking to see what we would have for dinner. It was indeed a hidden gem. We were greeted by two men, and we decided to sit outside. We had the $1 monthly special sundried tomato with roasted peppers Hummus, and it was not spicy but tasted fresh, healthy, and good. This is totally healthier than having fries , hehe. My drink was on point. They made my Arnold palmer perfectly. My partner asked the man who is Bilingual (I know since I asked him a few questions and talked in both languages with him) what he recommends as being their best dishes and he informed my partner that it is their pastas and sandwiches (maybe there was something else but I sure recall these two categories). This man was friendly, patient, and very welcoming, and his co-worker who took our food order was also welcoming and friendly. I ordered the garlic chicken pasta with white sauce. It was savory, and all the flavors just went well together. I am not big on pasta dishes, but this was IT. I saved some for the following day, and boy, it tasted better than the first time I had it asking with the bread. The dish also comes with a piece of fruit(watermelon, melon, etc). 5/5 My partner had their chicken pesto pasta, and they liked it. They rated their dish 4/5 The second time, I went with my friend just to ensure it was not a fluke, but it was not. She also ordered the chicken garlic pasta, and she loved it. 5/5 This time around, they had heated lamps since we sat outside. This spot is very homey, and there is a lot of space in the outside area . They also have some space to dine in inside. They have a lot of food options and happy hour(I have posted some pictures). I highly recommend it if you have not tried it.

This place isn't my first choice for picking restaurants near the circle, but it's pretty good. A lot of healthier options...vegan/GF friendly. HUGE menu with so many options, which makes me question places like this .... Can everything on their menu be that good when they have 50+ options? I don't know. I came here with a group of 5 during a weekday and it initially took us a while to get any service, but it was crowded that day. We finally ordered and I got the garlic chicken sandwich, and it was really good. Hearty portion and good garlicy flavor. They had a special going on with some kind of jalapeno dip with chips for $1 more. We opted for two of these too. Food was good. The sandwich roll was thick and filling. It came with a little pasta salad that was delicious too. I would be back to try other things on the menu but not in a hurry.
